Snow Melt Causes Concern

ICY ROADS AND HEAVY SNOW ARE SOME OF THE COLD-WEATHER SAFETY THREATS WE ENCOUNTER ‘EVERY’ WINTER, BUT AS THINGS START HEATING UP, THERE’S YET ANOTHER DANGER: FLOODING.  RESIDENTS IN COASTAL CONNECTICUT FOUND THIS OUT FIRST HAND, WHEN AN ESTIMATED TWO TO THREE FEET OF WATER FLOODED ROADS THERE LAST WEEK.  IN FACT, THE ROAD IN MILFORD, CONNECTICUT TEMPORARILY TURNED INTO A RIVER DURING HIGH TIDE.  FLOODING ALSO CLOSED ROADS IN PARTS OF NEW JERSEY, AND NEW YORK.
