President Obama Teams Up With Basketball Star

President Obama is teaming up with an NBA pro to send a message about mentoring.

The man with him is point guard Stephen Curry of the 2015 champion Golden State Warriors, who joined President Obama to produce this public service announcement.

It shows the president mentoring Curry, including fixing his resume and teaching him how to shoot a basketball... as if he needed help. Mentoring is a word that means to give guidance or advice about something you know well - to someone else.

The goal of the PSA is to encourage Americans to mentor young people in their communities. This video is part of President Obama's "My Brother's Keeper" initiative, and the national mentoring partnership called, "The Real Life."
