NewsDepth Inbox: Season 49 - Episode #28

It’s Teacher Appreciation Week so we asked you to tell us about a teacher you’re grateful to have. Here’s what some of you said:

Millie and Ela, Kensington Intermediate: Our Math Teacher Mr. MacDonald has a great impact on us! He always helps us with tough questions and hard equations. Even though math is a tough subject he always finds a way to make it funny! He teaches us in a fun way and prepares us for the Middle school! When something goes wrong he relates to us and tries to find a way to help! This is why I think he has a great impact.

Lexi, Bath Elementary School: Dear Newsdepth, The teacher I want to appreciate is Mrs. Sterpka. She's been a great 5th-grade teacher this year. She lets us do fun projects in class and she understands how we feel. She is always nice to us and we always get along. Mrs. Sterpka is one of my favorite teachers I had this year. I hope she will always remember us as her favorite class. Once again I'm so glad that I got Mrs. Sterpka this year. I very much appreciate what she has done for me and my class. Thank you Mrs. Sterpka

Audriana, East Woods Elementary: For Teacher Appreciation Week I would say I love all of my teachers but if I had to pick one. It would be Mrs.Puz because she is an outgoing person. She loves all of her kids. If she sees you crying she will talk to you and make you feel better like she did for me. And Mrs.Puz is such a helpful person Mrs.Puz is an honest person.

Emma, Glenwood Intermediate School: A teacher that inspired me is my choir teacher.  My mom and my uncle had her when they were in school she has worked very hard for years.  And her name is Mrs. Larsul she has taught me how to sing a lot better than I could.  She is really nice also she has good songs that we sing.  In conclusion that is the teacher that has inspired me.

Isabella, Montrose Elementary School: I have two favorite teachers. Both of them I like equally, so I can't decide. So one of my favorite teachers is Mrs. Williams. my other favorite teacher is Mrs. Bailey. Mrs. Bailey is one of my favorites because she always is encouraging me to do things. For example, she encouraged me to try out for the spelling bee. And Mrs.Williams because she is a great teacher, and made third grade really fun.
