A Plus: Students Spend Time with Shelter Dogs

What’s better than sharing a book with a friend? Well, how about sharing with a four legged friend? That’s exactly what some students are doing in Mount Vernon. Every week a group of students visit a nearby shelter and read to dogs. For an hour. It’s part of a program known as Working Dog Awareness Group or “WAGS.”
