Ideas Sunday - Robert & Sally Gries; Rural Suicides; Leo's Casino

For five generations, the family of Robert Gries has helped shape the business, religious, and charitable landscape of Cleveland. To better understand that legacy, ideastream's Joe Frolik visited with Gries and his wife Sally – a business and civic powerhouse in her own right – in the 16th floor offices of the downtown financial services firm she started and that carries the family name.

Ideastream's Marlene Harris-Taylor visits Ashtabula, an Appalachian county in Northeast Ohio which has the fifth highest rate of suicide in the state.

Plus, the names of more than 100 African-Americans from the Cleveland area who served in the Civil War will soon be added to the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument on Public Square.
