Health insurance giant Anthem Blue Cross recently announced it's cutting the amount it will pay to provide new mothers with electric breast pumps. Some insurers, including Anthem, began offering free pumps following the signing of the Affordable Care Act. Advocates say this led to 50,000 more babies being breast-fed and fear that if Anthem and other insurers reduce benefits, those numbers will drop substantially.
