Every 40 seconds, someone in the United States suffers a stroke. It's the fifth leading cause of death in the country, and stroke is the leading cause of long-term disabilities.  As part of a clinical trial, the Cleveland Clinic has performed what it calls the first deep brain stimulation surgery for stroke recovery. We explore what this could mean to stroke patients down the road.
