Petting Zoo: Students Read to Cats to Help Them Get Adopted

High School Students in Missouri read to cats at Wayside Waifs Animal Shelter. The idea behind the shelter's "read to cats" program is to calm down the cats and let them warm up to humans.

The program doesn't just stop at high school students. Wayside also brings in various grades, Girl Scouts, and even adult groups to read to the cats!
