The ticketing area at Cleveland Hopkins Airport. Flight and baggage information systems as well as email are out for a third day after a cyber-attack.

Good morning, iOpeners. It's Wednesday, April 24, 2019.

Flight and baggage information displays as well as email at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport remain down for a third day, and the FBI is investigating. A source tells WKYC TV Channel 3 it was a deliberate act.  The computer virus has also shut down the airport’s payroll and record keeping systems. City officials say flight and security operations are not affected.

Thirteen more inmates have joined a lawsuit arguing that conditions at Cuyahoga County's jail are unconstitutional.  In an amended complaint filed earlier this week, Cleveland.com reports the inmates say conditions have not improved much since a highly critical review of the jail last fall by U-S Marshals.  They say they're still subjected to lengthy lockdowns.  Cuyahoga County executive Armond Budish said during his state of the county address last week that his administration was making "great strides' in improving the jail.  He said overcrowded conditions would end within the year.

Former Macedonia mayor Joe Migliorini has been sentenced to two years of probation for attempting to see his ex-girlfriend, violating an order of protection she has against him. The 66-year-old had faced up to six months in jail.  Police in Streetsboro say Miglorini’s former girlfriend was at the home of a friend in August 2018 when Miglorini broke into the house.  He had resigned a month earlier, after an incident in Florida last April in which he allegedly pulled his girlfriend’s hair and slapped her outside a restaurant in Palm Beach.

Cleveland Metroparks announced the schedules and acts for its popular summer music series at Edgewater Park and Euclid Beach. Edgewater Live will take place every Thursday from May 30 through Aug. 1.  Euclid Beach Live will happen every Friday from May 31 through Aug. 2.

Carlos Carrasco injured his left leg and was pulled in the fourth inning and the Miami Marlins took advantage of his replacement, beating the Indians, 3-1. Carrasco fell while covering first base on a ground ball, colliding with the Marlins’ Neil Walker and falling on his knee.  He was sent for a precautionary MRI.

Odell Beckham Jr. will not be with the Browns for today’s start of a three-day voluntary mini-camp. The star wide receiver, recently acquired from the New York Giants, has been working out in Los Angeles.

The Columbus Blue Jackets will face the Boston Bruins in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.  The Bruins routed the Toronto Maple Leafs, 5-1, in Game 7 of their hard-fought series.  It’s the Bruins’ second straight Game 7 win over the Maple Leafs and the third in three playoff matches between the teams.
