This week marks the 30th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. NPR's Michael Sullivan is traveling the length of the country, to see how it is faring three decades after the withdrawal of U.S. troops.

In the second installment of our weeklong series, he looks at Hanoi, once the capital of North Vietnam and now the capital of a nation reunified under communist rule.
