Enjoy the outdoors this week with concerts of various genres, local plants and more. Or, stay cool indoors with the tunes of Patsy Cline and visual art on view.  

The Grove

Chamberfest Cleveland presents its  “Together Again!” concert series Friday at 7 p.m. at the Grove in Mayfield Village. This week’s free concert, “Blue Dress,” features a violin and cello duet, a clarinet quartet, a piano quintet and more. Eight more concerts are set to run through June 25.  Reservations are required for the shows online.  

Nature Center at Shaker Lakes

The  Nature Center at Shaker Lakes hosts their Homegrown Plant Sale this Sunday, June 13, 12 - 3 p.m. Members of the Nature Center are invited to a preview from 11 a.m. -12 p.m. to beat the crowd. Plants for sale have been grown and donated by local gardeners, and plant experts from the Nature Center answer any questions about gardening.  

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

The Singing Angels, a youth chorus group in Cleveland, presents its annual  Summer Concert this Sunday, June 13, at 5 p.m. at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Savanna Theater. The concert is outdoors, socially distanced and will go on regardless of weather conditions.  

Rabbit Run Theater

“Always…Patsy Cline,” the musical tribute to legendary country singer Patsy Cline, is presented by the  Rabbit Run Theater in Madison through June 19. The emotional show includes many of Cline’s top songs and is based on the true story of her friendship with a fan.  

The Winery at Wolf Creek

The Winery at Wolf Creek in Barberton hosts a gallery of  Marti Jones Dixon’s paintings Thursday, June 10, 6 - 9 p.m. Jones Dixon is a multi-talented Kent State alumna who has also created music, having signed two record deals as “Marti Jones” between 1984 and 1991. Visitors can browse her paintings and meet the artist in the gallery while enjoying wine and cheese provided by the winery.
