All this month we've been talking about cancer, and this coming Monday on WVIZ/PBS, is the premier of a new, 3-part PBS Ken Burn's documentary called "Cancer: The Emperor of All Maladies." The film is based on a 2010 Pulitzer Prize winning book, and it explores the history and future of cancer treatment.
ideastream's Sarah Jane Tribble sat down with Barak Goodman, the director and producer of "Cancer: The Emperor of All Maladies," to get a sense of why he took on such a project. We join their conversation just as Sarah asks Goodman what he knew about cancer going into it.
