Like a squirrel digging for nuts in winter, it might be difficult to find interesting internet arts options. Here are five online arts events to enjoy this week from Northeast Ohio arts and cultural organizations.

Cleveland Public Theatre

CPT takes viewers behind the scenes of its Arabic theater company Masrah Cleveland Al-Arabi with a new mini-documentary. Learn how the ensemble began and watch as its debut production, "Dream of Home," takes the stage on the Cleveland Public Theatre Vimeo page.

Oberlin Conservatory

Oberlin Conservatory grad Rhiannon Giddens, of the Grammy-winning Carolina Chocolate Drops, returns to her alma mater virtually for the Oberlin Stage Left series. She'll play a wide-ranging set including blues, gospel and traditional Irish songs with collaborator Francesco Turrisi Thursday, December 10, at 7:30 p.m.

Les Délices

Northeast Ohio baroque ensemble Les Délices premieres its new holiday production, "Noel, Noel," Thursday, December 10, at 7:30 p.m. Featuring new renditions of favorite carols the troupe is also joined by former ideastream radio and TV host Dee Perry reading holiday poetry.

Cavani String Quartet

The Cavani String Quartet celebrates the 250th birth anniversary of German composer Ludwig van Beethoven with a livestream performance of a pair of his classic quartets. The performance streams from Temple-Tifereth Israel, Sunday, December 13, at 4 p.m. via the Cavani's Facebook page.

Craig Wedren

Film and television composer Craig Wedren, who grew up in Cleveland, has released new music created at the start of the pandemic. His "Sabbath Sessions" are improvised vocal performances featuring a tribute to the life of the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, " Days of Awe."
