You can now track the number of people who have received their second COVID-19 vaccine in Ohio.

The Ohio Department of Health has unveiled a new online dashboard showing how many people have completed the vaccine, meaning they received both doses.

The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines both require two shots for full immunity.

So far, nearly 200,000 Ohioans have completed the vaccine, about 1.7 percent of the state’s population.

More than 882,000 people have received their first dose, which is about 7.3 percent of the population, according to the dashboard.

Users can also view individual county information. In Cuyahoga County, 22,678 people have received both doses, and more than 93,000 have had at least one shot.

The dashboard also tracks age, race, and gender data. The statistics show a stark racial gap: 64 percent of Ohioans who completed the vaccine are white, while about 4 percent identify as Black. In addition, 46 percent are listed as an unknown or other race.

Gov. Mike DeWine said in a press conference Tuesday that plans for better outreach about the vaccine to minority populations are forthcoming. The campaign may include pop-up vaccination sites, transportation assistance, and media outreach in minority communities.
