Ask anyone who’s ever had shingles and they’ll tell you a story. Shingles causes a skin rash with blisters and can be very painful. About one in three Americans will get shingles sometime in life according to the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. A vaccine to help prevent it was approved in 2006. But there’s some confusion about the age at which folks should consider getting it.
