Fibroids are non cancerous tumors that grow in and around the uterus. It is estimated 20% to 40% of women have them nd they're usually not a big deal. But in some cases they can create complications during pregnancy. In today's health section in the Plain Dealer, Angela Townsend writes about the fact that there are two different treatments for fibroids, and there's a debate among doctors which route to go. She spoke with ideastream®'s Eric Wellman.
