Rothenberg says Ohioans of All races should be covered with affordable, comprehensive health care. He says he'd like to see more public health clinics in poor neighborhoods as well as a public health insurance option like Medicaid or Medicare.
Congress is debating various health care plans right now but at this point, there are many questions about the type of coverage that would be provided and who would pay for it. Insurance companies say if a public option is created, it should have to adhere to the same rules and limits as private health insurers.
