She says when the equipment arrives, the state will no longer have to send suspect samples to the Centers for Disease Control - and wait. Right now it can take two-to-three days for an Ohio sample to get to the CDC and be tested.
There have been three confirmed cases in Ohio. The state is waiting on the CDC's decision on three probable cases - an 18 year old man in Franklin County, and two 39 year old women in Holmes and Portage Counties.
