Still others may have taken career-technical high school coursework and entered directly into employment with the option of attending college and earning industry-recognized certifications.
Meet young professionals (YPs) who have taken different paths to reach their early and mid- career goals in the advanced manufacturing sector. They will share what factors they considered when making choices and how they were able to assess their interests and abilities at a young age. They will provide lessons learned and advice about understanding post high-school graduation options, programs of study, importance of career awareness tools, financing education, and the value of career and education pathways.
