Fact-Checking Politicians With PolitifactOhio

In this era of multiple media the public is bombarded with more information than ever about what politicians say...but how much of it is true? Starting July 25th, Ohio will have a new source to find out. PolitifactOhio will use reporters from The Plain Dealer to investigate the veracity of Ohio politicians and parties. It is an offshoot of Politifact-dot-com, a national fact-checking effort started by the St. Petersberg Times. Politifact's editor, Bill Adair, explained to ideastream's David Molpus how it works.
