The University of Toledo has taken a big step to make college more affordable. It's offering free tuition to students in 21 Ohio cities who have at least a 3.0 grade point average and can demonstrate a clear financial need. The school says the first year of the program has been quite successful. Across the state, about 400 students have taken advantage of the scholarship, about 100 of which come from Cleveland. On Friday September 18th, The University of Toledo held a massive recruitment fair, busing in more than 500 students from the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. ideastream®'s Eric Wellman spoke with the school's head of admissions.
