Students at Career Colleges Lose Grant Money

Some grants for students at career colleges have been eliminated in this new two year state budget. Renada Davis is a student at Miami Jacobs Career College in Columbus.

She says she'll have to go further in debt to fund her education because she won't be receiving the $2,600 she expected this year.

The head of a group that represents career colleges says the the vast majority of students at career colleges quickly get jobs in their fields.

David Rankin says those students turned taxpayers are just what the state needs right now.
