Too many students make it to college, but cannot read at college level, or need remedial help in other parts of their education.
Helping colleges deal with those learning deficits is one of the causes of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and now, some of their money will be used to fund remedial programs for students at several Ohio institutions of higher learning, including Cuyahoga Community College, Jefferson and Sinclair Community Colleges, North Central State College and Zane State College.
