Governor Strickland has proposed placing less of an emphasis on standardized tests, and focusing more on tailoring teaching to the needs of individual students. But 18 months into his administration, the Governor is facing criticism for not having done more to improve education in Ohio. Some of that criticism has come from members of the Fordham Institute, an education policy think tank based in Washington. ideastream®'s Eric Wellman spoke with the leader of the Institute's Ohio office.
