The Federal Aviation Administration will be implementing changes in the next couple of weeks for flights between Cleveland and Detroit.
The FAA said the changes include more flight paths in and out of Cleveland. A press release from the agency says it’s like creating “more on-and off-ramps in the sky”.
For people on the ground, the FAA projects the route changes “would not result in any significant noise increase” but people might see planes where they did not previously.
The agency said the changes are part of a nationwide effort to update the country’s air traffic system and will improve efficiency and safety.
