Your candidates:
- Pete, the 7-year-old Jack Russell terrier from Turtletown, Tenn., who escaped from the front porch of his home, and who was found and returned by a UPS driver making deliveries in the area;
- Naomi, a cat who escaped from her owner in Asheville, N.C., during a move from Wake Forest, N. C., to Chicago in September 2019, and who was found and identified recently via microchip by an organization that traps and neuters feral cats. Naomi and her owner were reunited last week;
- Kit-Kat, the husky, of Lubbock, Tex., who escaped from her yard and was videotaped via security camera stealing a 10-pound package containing Milk Bone dog treats from a neighbor’s porch in a brazen daytime theft. After the dog returned home, Kit-Kat’s owner was astonished to see her dog on tape stealing from the neighbor;
- Farmer the puppy and Billy Bob the goat, temporary names given to the twosome who were spotted running loose in Anderson County, S. C. Once they were taken to a shelter and given the temporary names, they were split up overnight and made sure that everybody knew that they were not happy about it. The shelter has received word that someone has made contact regarding the duo’s ownership.
