Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish rallied with hospital executives and advocates at a Cleveland church Tuesday afternoon to encourage people to take action.
"We need your help to share three important messages about expanded Medicaid eligibility. First, there is still time to act for people that have received letter from the state," Budish said. Medicaid enrollees should also check their eligibility and ask for help before they lose coverage, he said.
Medicaid is the government-funded health coverage for the poor and disabled. In Ohio, enrollees are being sent a 14-page form from the state asking them to update their financial information. If they don't, they lose coverage.
