About the Almeda Trio

The Almeda Trio is the ensemble-in-residence at The Music Settlement in Cleveland, Ohio. They perform an array of the standard repertoire, including works by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Brahms, Copland, Shostakovich, and more. They also perform works from more recent times and various styles, including Paul Schoenfield (jazz), Astor Piazzolla (tango), Jennifer Higdon (contemporary American), cover of Rush (Prog Rock). They are proud “commissioners” of three works: Concordia (piano trio version) by Dave Brubeck, Solstice Suite by Paul Ferguson, and Tales Told by Sightless Eyes by Eden Rayz
