The lead trade official for the U.S. is in Ohio today as part of an Administration campaign to talk up the benefits of foreign trade agreements, including two major initiatives which have stalled. One is with a dozen Pacific Ocean nations, including Japan, ...and another with European countries. They're a tough sell at home with critics, who say foreign competitors would get greater access to American markets while benefits to the U.S. would be trivial. Trade Representative Michael Froman disputes that. He spoke with WCPN's David Molpus.
