Derdriu Ring (Alexa) is a graduate of The Gaiety School of Acting (Dublin) and University College Cork (Music& English). Derdriu was most recently seen as Nicole in THE BIG MEAL at Dobama Theatre and as Ellen in THERE IS A HAPPINESS THAT MORNING IS at Cleveland Public Theatre (Awarded superior achievement by an Actress from The Cleveland Critics Award and named one of the top ten plays of 2013 by Cleveland Plain Dealer). Derdriu has recorded Water Carry Me, an audio book by Thomas Moran and worked as orchestral narrator with The Suburban Symphony under the baton of Marty Kessler. She also serves as both a performer and teaching artist at The Cleveland School of The Arts and Playhouse Square’s International Children’s Festival and Broadway Summer Camp. Derdriu was awarded best actress (HOBSON'S CHOICE) best supporting actress (THE SYNGE CYCLE) and best ensemble (MEDEA) by The Pittsburgh Post Gazette. Derdriu is the proud Mamaí of two beautiful children and wife to an incredibly supportive Vince.
