From Northeast Ohio, we'll have two broadcasts by The Cleveland Orchestra - on Christmas Eve, a holiday concert from 2011; and on Christmas Day, Handel's Messiah. Apollo's Fire will be heard in their Christmas Vespers concert and Sacrum Mysterium: A Celtic Christmas Vespers.
National and international broadcasts will feature the legendary Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols from King's College, Cambridge, heard twice. Also, Celebration, with fanfares, carols and readings from Wales. And then there will be Christmas packages to be opened by The Canadian Brass, the St. Olaf College Choirs, Chanticleer, Anonymous 4, the Bethlehem Bach Festival and Millennium of Music's Medieval Christmas Plus there's a very early Christmas morning Messiah from Trinity Church in New York, all presented with the best holiday wishes from the WCLV staff.
