The Ohio Casino Control Commission's latest numbers show that the Horseshoe had revenues of $ 20.2 million in November - that's a 3.5 percent spike over October.
However, the November returns are down 1.2 percent from November 2012.
For the past few weeks, the Horseshoe's operators have been playing up its location in the old Higbee Department store in downtown Cleveland. This includes recreating many of the robotic Christmas window displays popular during the 1930s and 40s, and featured in the popular 1983 film, "A Christmas Story".
Overall, Ohio's casino revenues for the year to date are nearly $760 million, more than twice that of 2012. That's partly because last year, only three casinos were operating. This past March, the fourth and final voter-approved casino, the Horseshoe Cincinnati, opened.
