How Mac N Cheese is Krafted, Comes Under Fire

The conversations included the power of the internet to possibly create a restructuring of one of the biggest-selling foods; Kraft Mac N Cheese. It stemmed from the discovery that two artificial dyes, Yellow #5 and Yellow # 6 are included in the product in the US, but not overseas. They are linked to illnesses in children including Asthma and hyperactivity.
Kraft is taking a P.R. hit, but these dyes are actually found in lots of things that we ingest. This is similar to the campaign about "Pink Slime' campaign of just about a year ago - which really changed an industry... restaurants stopped using it - the Department of Agriculture weighed in. Kraft thus far has only meant with the bloggers and says it will not change the formula.
