Representative LaTourette shocked his party and constituents when he announced late last month that he was not running for re-election. Part of the so-called "Republican Revolution" that seized the House in 1994, LaTourette worked across the aisle - and even butted heads with the White House - during his 18 years in Congress. But citing frustration with continuing partisan gridlock, LaTourette announced his retirement, prompting Republicans to find a replacement for the fall elections.
Now GOP officials from Ohio's 14th District have found someone to replace LaTourette on the November ballot. Ideastream's Brian Bull talked with reporter Bill Rice, about the announcement.
