It was a "Chamber of Commerce" type of night - perfect weather and roughly 5,000 people on hand, waiting for hours in some cases, to be among the first gamblers in the city's history.
The event began with a video, projected on the facade of the former Higbee Building ... and using images from the city's history, sports teams and tourist attractions.
