Pastors Urge Passage Of "Heartbeat" Abortion Bill

Various groups from all over the state are continuing to hammer state Senators with one message - pass the heartbeat abortion bill. Leaders from churches throughout Ohio are among the latest to lobby state senators for the bill that would outlaw abortion at the point in which a fetal heartbeat can be detected. Pastor Ernie Sanders of the Doers of the Word Baptist Church in northeast Ohio has this message for Senators.

“So stop the delay, we’re not gonna wait. We’re going to be here until that bill is passed.”

Senate President Tom Niehaus says he expects the bill will be taken up after the March 6th primary.
