Ohio Attorney General Collects 9 Tons Of Prescription Drugs

Ohio’s Attorney General says more than 9 tons of prescription drugs were collected during this past weekend’s Drug Take Back Day. That was four thousand pounds more than was turned in during last year’s event. Almost half of the drugs that were brought in for disposal came from the Cleveland area. Drugs were also handed back at drug collection sites in Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton, Toledo, and Youngstown. This was the third Drug Take Back Day. The first one brought in more than 15 thousand pounds, the second one yielded more than 21 thousand pounds and this most recent one netted more than 18 thousand pounds.
