Ohioans can now walk into their local boards of elections or a community space specified by the board, to cast an in person, absentee ballot for this November’s election. And they can still register to vote, at least for a few more days. This overlap period when Ohioans can both register to vote and cast a ballot at the same time was supposed to be eliminated but a law that gets rid of it is now up for a referendum next November. That means for this November election and next, Ohioans will continue to have a month of early voting, including the weekend before the election. Hours and voting locations vary from county to county.
