Childhood Pre-Sex Vaccine Angers, Scares

There are legitimate concerns and unfounded rumors about many childhood vaccines... some new, others long-standing.
The latest uproar has been about the human papilloma-virus vaccine... generally referred to as HPV.
Some types of HPV cause an estimated 70% of cervical cancers, and are responsible for most HPV-cancer cases, involving reproductive organs.
And it's sexually transmitted.... causing part of the uproar.

The HPV vaccine is the focus of this morning's Tuesday Checkup-
ideastream's Rick Jackson spoke with Plain Dealer Senior Health Reporter Angela Townsend.
