Activists on Ohio’s political right and left usually fight each other on basic issues like taxes. But three think tanks that span the political spectrum are now agreeing on a proposal to wipe out several tax breaks. The development comes as state legislators continue to hammer out a new two-year state budget that means major cuts in funding for schools, universities, prisons, and social welfare programs.
