It is currently illegal to text while driving in many cities throughout Ohio. But there’s not a state law against the practice. Democrat Nancy Garland wants to change that. In an interview with Ohio Public Radio’s Jo Ingles, Garland explains she’s pushing a bill that would ban texting while driving….but she admits it’s not new.
Garland says she thinks the bill will pass in the Ohio legislature in the coming months, especially since it has bi-partisan support.
