Republican legislators have proposed a bill that would beef up the statewide computer system pharmacists use to process prescriptions for Ohio's Medicaid system in a way that would catch people who are getting too many prescriptions filled too often. Democrats are focusing on doctors who operate unscrupulous pain clinics by introducing a bill aimed to shut down what's known as pill mills.
