Mayor Frank Jackson has four challengers - but only two of the five people running in this election will advance past September 8th's primary election.
90.3 is briefly profiling each of the challengers including Laverne Jones Gore.
She is a former candidate for a County Commission seat, and lives in Cleveland's Larchmere neighborhood. She operates L.A. Gore & Associates, a consulting group that focuses on health care.
And she says she's ready for the challenge of leading Cleveland.
