Ohio Public Radio's Karen Kasler asked Geauga County Senator Tim Grendell and Senator Capri Cafaro from Youngstown whether tax hikes should be part of the equation.
Grendell and Cafaro disagree on the governor's proposal to allow electronic slot machines at racetracks.
Grendell doesn't support expanding gambling, saying voters have rejected it four times. But Cafaro says the state needs to come up with creative ideas to bring in new revenue, and this is an example.
The full interview with Grendell and Cafaro appears on "The State of Ohio" on WVIZ/PBS tonight at 7:30.
