Voters go to the polls in Akron, Tuesday, June 23rd to vote up or down on their city's mayor. But the rubber city is certainly not alone when it comes to recall elections. Toledo, Kansas City and Portland, Oregon also have mayors in question. Raphael Sonenshein is a professor at California State University at Fullerton. He follows recall elections. Sonenshein spoke with ideastream®s' Eric Wellman about what makes Akron's case unique.
