When people talk about things they like about Cleveland the city's proximity to Lake Erie is often high on the list. But when people talk about what they dislike about Cleveland, they talk about this disconnect between the city and the lake. In the months and years to come there's going to be a real opportunity to completely reinvent a 100 acre section of prime lakefront property. It's the area next to Browns Stadium which the Cleveland Cuyahoga County Port Authority will be vacating. Juan Alayo works for a company that's building a major waterfront development in Bilbao, Spain and David Taylor is overseeing one of Europe's largest waterfront development projects in East London. They spoke on Morning Edition to ideastream®'s Eric Wellman.
