On this Monday morning, the beginning of another work week, consider this: roughly one in ten Ohioans is looking for a job. New figures show the state's unemployment rate stands at 9.7% - the highest it's been in more than 25 years. Over the weekend, the Plain Dealer kicked off a major project. For the rest of the year reporters will be following 88 people from Northeast Ohio who are looking for work. WVIZ/PBS and 90.3 WCPN ideastream® are collaborating with the Plain Dealer on the project which will result in multiple reports, videos, discussions and interviews. Deputy Managing Editor Elizabeth McIntyre spoke with ideastream's Eric Wellman about the Help Wanted series.
