If Congress approves the Senate version of a financial rescue package instead of the House version, it could blow a huge hole in Ohio’s proposed two-year state budget and dozens of government programs would have to be slashed even more. That's what the state budget director told a key committee of legislators yesterday. Some said perhaps Ohio shouldn't be depending on so much federal money.
