Strickland Tax Credits To Stimulate Economy...In Three Years

He proposed a handful of tax credits for businesses in his recent State of the State speech but businesses won't see two of these tax credits for at least
three years.
Strickland has proposed the renewal of a tax credit to fuel startup technology companies. But his budget document says the impact of the credit will be delayed three to five years. The governor also proposed a tax credit that cities and towns can use to help spur urban development. But those credits can't be
claimed until 2013. Two years ago, Strickland said he was against the use of tax credits.
