After a terrible 2008, Richard DeKaser predicts that the economy will fair better this year. DeKaser is a senior vice president and chief economist at National City Bank in Cleveland. He believes unemployment is likely to worsen and housing prices may continue their decline, but he predicts a better second half of the year. He spoke with ideastream®'s Eric Wellman.
